First Mate Chris Cooke.
First Mate Chris has been a Mate-in-training with us for the past couple of years. He is an extraordinary hard worker who will go above and beyond to fufill the needs of the crew & customers. Chris is our resident 'MacGyver' who is able to figure out and fix most any problem that may arise. Chis is a quick study and we wouldn't be surprised if one day he was the Captain of his own charter boat!

Chris served in the Army National Guard where he was a First Responder at the World Trade Center after 9-11. He went on to serve in Tours at Iraq and Afghanistan.
We are proud to have Chris sailing aboard the Orient Star IV. He is a true American hero.
We are saddened to share that Chris fought his most difficult battle to date, and passed after valiantly waging the fight of his young life. Our condolences to those who knew him best.
